Werner E.'s Story
Mr. Werner E. Rupp, 91, of Gloucester, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, in the Golden Living Center. He was the loving husband to Gisela (Nehk) Rupp, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.
Werner was born February 14, 1925, in Germany. He came to the United States many years ago and resided in Gloucester for the past 25 years.
He was a national economist who established American branches of the firms he worked with in various European countries (Switzerland, Germany, Italy).
Werner and Gisela enjoyed skiing all over the world, flying planes, and he was an accomplished artist.
In addition to his loving wife, Gisela, Werner is survived by his extended family in Germany as well as many friends.
Werner’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Good Voyage Church, Prospect Street, Gloucester, on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. Friends are respectfully invited.
