Beverly - Barry J. Troy, 63, of Beverly, passed away at his home on December 1, 2025. Born in Gloucester on September 1, 1962, he was the son to Roland Troy and stepmother, Leeann Troy. He was predeceased by his mother, Sharen (Pomeroy) Ala.

Barry grew up in Gloucester and attended Gloucester High School. He joined the Army in 1981. After he was honorably discharged in 1984, he had a long career as a laborer in the construction industry.

His favorite moments were spent being an avid outdoorsman and had a great appreciation of animals.

Barry is survived by his son, John A. Brenner of Methuen, his brother, Ronald Troy his sister, Christine Lowe, his aunt Donna Mello, his aunt Doreen Duwart, his uncle, Bluey Duwart his niece, Krystal Lowe, and his stepmother, Leeann Troy.

In addition to his mother Sharen Ala, Barry is predeceased by his aunt, Andrea Gibbs, aunt Marilyn Blatchford and his uncle, Joe Mello.
