Brad A. L'Abbe, 33, died unexpectedly at his home in Worcester on Wednesday, May 18, 2017.
Born in Salem on April 4, 1984, he was the son of Mark and Doris (Guerrette) L'Abbe of Danvers. He was raised and educated in Gloucester and attended Gloucester High School. He served honorably in the U.S. Army and graduated from the Northeast Tractor Trailer School.
Currently, he was employed at LKQ Salvage as a forklift operator. Brad had a love of cooking and worked in several restaurants including Chili's and the Macaroni Grill. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he leaves a son, Justin L'Abbe of Gloucester; his fiancée, Colleen Sarsfield of Worcester; his brother, Steven L'Abbe of Minnesota; his grandparents, Irma Guerrette of Maine, Larry Guerrette and his companion, Pat Botto of Salem, and Shirley and Ray L'Abbe of Florida; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
His funeral service will be Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 1 p.m. in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
