Oquossoc - Oquossoc, ME - Brian Michael Williamson, 68, passed away on Friday May 22, 2026. He was born in Arlington, Mass. on April 20, 1958, one of 10 children to Richard and Joan Williamson.

He loved animals from an early age and told lots of stories of their horses and dogs throughout the years. One of his favorite comments was that he would take a dog over people any day. He had a special love for his German shepherd's Dink, Bear, Kuma and Dakota.

He was a hard worker his whole life and worked as a fisherman, mason, poured floors for his dad's business, and took great pride in keeping all the family homes and businesses looking beautiful in Oquossoc, Maine. He even made a great Chef for Sunday breakfast and pasta night at the Gingerbread House.

In 1999, he married the love of his life Kate with whom he has been with for over 30 years. Moving to the far reaches of nowhere in Oquossoc, Maine where he enjoyed the simple life. He loved playing golf, a good card game with his family, all New England sports teams, listening to music in his truck, and having a Budweiser while cruising Mooselookmeguntic Lake on the boat.

His greatest pride was in his children Melissa, Ashley, and Brian, whom he adored with everything in his being, was so amazed by them, and whom he affectionately referred to as his "Boogs". Adored being a grandfather to Avery, Olive, Violette, Chris, Sam, and Baylee and had major love, respect, and appreciation for his son-in laws Mark and Tomas.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, mother, eight siblings, and his faithful dog Dakota, who will all love him forever. He was predeceased by his father Richard and brother Ricky.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Gloucester, Mass at his daughter Melissa's home on Sunday June 14, 2026, from 1-4pm and a graveside service and celebration will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Rangeley Maine on Monday July 6, 2026, at 11 am with a Celebration of Life to follow.
