Debra McLaughlin Obituary

Gloucester - Debra McLaughlin, 64, of Gloucester, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2026. Daughter of the late John and Geraldine (Mountain) Dammeyer, Debra was born and raised in Gloucester.

Debra worked for Golden Living (later Graycliff) for 25 years and later worked for Market Basket in the Deli. She enjoyed knitting and traveling and enjoyed spending time with her many friends and her partner, George. Debbie had an avid love for Dachshunds, Every Wednesday she would get together with her Aunt Judy and have their morning coffee and chat.


Debbie leaves behind her Fiancée and longtime companion, George Browning as well as her sister, Michelle Curley, wife to John Curley Jr. and their two sons, John M. Curley, III and Justin Curley, and her great-nephew, Parker Jewell. She also leaves behind, Judy McGee, (wife to the late Michael McGee) Joanne Perry, (wife of the late Joseph Perry) and Sandra Mountain along with many cousins and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Richard McLaughlin, Robert Mountain (husband of Paula Mountain) and Ronald Mountain (husband to Diane Gilliss).



Her warmth and cheerful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her funeral service will be at Campbell Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester on Wednesday, June 10th at 12PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the service from 10AM to 12PM. Burial will be at Dolliver's Cemetery, Gloucester. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
