Lynn - Mr. Dennis F. Brackett, age 80, died at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Thursday, February 4. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Stankowski) Brackett with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Saugus, Mr. Brackett was the son of the late Edward and Muriel (Linehan) Brackett. He had been a resident of Lynn since 1969. Dennis was a retired Local Union 67 Carpenter.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Brackett is survived by his two children, Sandra Nicholas and her husband John of Saugus and Scott Brackett and his wife Catherine of Gloucester; three grandchildren, Jennifer Sinapius and her husband Dana, Diana Nicholas and Rebecca Brackett; two great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Colin; one brother, Richard Brackett and his wife Camille of Saugus; three sisters, Jeanette Flynn of Lynn, Muriel Tizol and her husband Joseph of Fla., Carolyn Waters and her husband George of Fla. He was predeceased by two brothers, Edward Brackett Jr. and Lawrence Brackett. He is also survived by Lawrence's wife, Joan Brackett; as well as many nieces and nephews.
