Diane Marie Gannon Obituary
Bonita Springs - Diane Marie Gannon, 65, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away on May 30, 2026.
Born on November 4, 1960, in Gloucester, MA. Diane lived a life full of heart, humor, and an unwavering commitment to the people she loved.
Diane was, above all else, a doer of good deeds. She had one of the biggest hearts on the planet, selfless in so many ways, and never afraid to speak the truth or stand up for what she believed in. She found humor in everything and vowed never to take life too seriously. She was a friend to so many, and quite literally, to everybody who crossed her path.
Diane wore many hats throughout her life, and she wore them all well. She had a strong work ethic, finding peace in building, creating, and leading. For most of her professional career, she dedicated herself to The Home Depot, where her natural drive and leadership left a lasting impression. In recent years, she turned her energy toward home improvement projects, shelling along the beaches of Southwest Florida, camping, crafting, and volunteering. She loved thrifting, shopping of all kinds, and cooking for the people around her. Whether she was constructing something with her hands or whipping up a meal in the kitchen, Diane was happiest when she was doing something for someone else.
Diane's greatest pride and joy was her son, Nicholas, whom she raised as a single mother for the majority of his life. The bond they shared was the center of her world.
Diane is survived by her son, Nicholas Jankowski; her mother, Carol (Gannon) Lyon; her stepfather, John Lyon; her brothers, Ronald Gannon, James Gannon, and David Pasquarelli; and her sisters, Gail Gannon and Rebecca Gannon. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald P. Gannon.
