Rockport - Rockport - Diletta P. (Ruggiero) Elliott, a soul so gentle and sweet. Left us on the twenty-second, of May 2025.
Born in Boston's bustling bounds March 12, 1939. Her journey through this life was one of a radiant design. In Danvers' peaceful embrace, she passed peacefully.
A loving mother, sister, grandma too, her family stood proud, With love that filled the room, like a warm and gentle cloud. Mark and Laura, her son and daughter-in-law, held her dear, David and Stephen, her boys, for her memory, they'll cheer. John, Richard, and Bob, her brothers, from the same Boston start, their sister's legacy lives in each of their hearts. Brooke and Matthew, Justine too, her grandchildren's joy, And a great-granddaughter's laughter, oh, what a precious thing.
Her life was rich in learning, Saint Mary's High she did see, then at Bentley College, then Lesley, she studied with glee. Geriatric care was her passion, a field where she shone, Her wisdom and her kindness, like a precious stone. A real estate broker licensed, with integrity she led, At Century 21 in Beverly, her team was expertly fed. She helped to create a magazine, "Arts Around Boston" its name, And in advertising, she found quite a bit of her fame.
But it wasn't all work, no, Diletta loved the sea, Walking on the beach, picking up rocks, and shells feeling free. With grandchildren by her side, time was sweetly spent, Their laughter and their stories, oh, how much they meant. Friendly, loving, creative, words that paint her best, A life so full of color, truly, she was blessed.
And in her memory, let's recall a quote that's known to all, "Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end; They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again." - Author Unknown-
