Needham - Needham - Elaine L. (Hung) Sweet, of Needham passed away peacefully at the age of 89, on September 30, 2025

Beloved wife of the late Frederick W. Sweet. Loving mother of Theresa A. Elder of Weymouth, Sandra L. Emery of Attleboro, Michael F. Sweet of Assonet, Jennifer E. Sweet of Danvers. Sister of her late brother Stephen (Bob) Hung of Wellesley. Grandmother to Robin Elder Watkins, Christopher Emery and Sara Elder, Great-grandmother (Gigi) to Jackson, Beckett and Alaina Watkins. Her parents met and married in Lanesville, MA where Elaine loved to spend her summers. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends, serving her community especially through Christ Episcopal Church of Needham and baking her legendary Christmas Cookies.

Visiting hours Wednesday, October 15th from 4-7p.m. at the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., Needham. Funeral service Thursday, October 16th, 2:30pm at Christ Episcopal Church, 1132 Highland Ave. Needham. Donations in Elaine's honor can be made to Christ Episcopal Church in Needham.
