Gloucester - Gloucester - Our beloved Elizabeth Bosselman, known to most as Mimi or Betty, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 12, 2025, at the age of 83. She was at Care One in Beverly, MA, having bravely faced a battle with cancer.

Elizabeth was born on August 16, 1941, in Gloucester, MA to Lucienne and Robert Bosselman. She grew up in Gloucester, MA and graduated from Gloucester High School in 1959 and then spent much of her life in New Jersey (Sparta, Glen Ridge) and New York City. Later in life, Elizabeth went back to school and earned a nursing degree from Bloomfield College. She spent her career as a dedicated nurse at St. Micheal's Hospital in Newark, NJ and at Columbia University, in Manhattan, before moving back to Gloucester, MA. She found immense joy in knitting, visiting France, and spending time with family at Good Harbor Beach and visiting all the sites in Manhattan.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother, Robert Bosselman; her sister, Linda Bosselman; and her longtime friend, Anthony Luzio. She also leaves behind her daughter, Dianne O'Connor, and son-in-law, Andrew O'Connor; her son, Gregory Johnson; her granddaughters and their husbands, Abby and Matt Crowe, Amy and Phil Vorabouth, and Kelly and Kevin Rippon; and her great-grandchildren, Connor and Ava Vorabouth, Caleigh and Cora Crowe, and Lucienne and Cameron Rippon. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Lucienne Sasco Bosselman and Robert Bosselman.

Elizabeth Bosselman will be remembered for her caring nature, compassion, generosity, and helping people. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Our Lady of Good Voyage Church, 142 Prospect Street, Gloucester, on Saturday, September 27th at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
