Gabriel J. "Gabe" Feliciano Obituary

Gloucester - Gabriel "Gabe" Feliciano, 66, formerly of Camden, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Gabe was a hardworking man who took great pride in his career to provide for his family. He worked for many years at Amour Research and later Billows Electric in New Jersey until illness forced him to retire at the age of 60. He faced the challenges of stroke and frontal lobe dementia with quiet strength and resilience.

Gabe was best known for his stern look, often captured in family photos at gatherings, where he could be found keeping a watchful eye on everyone to make sure they were behaving respectfully. Beneath that serious expression, however, was a deep love for his family, especially his grandchildren, Jaeden (18), Evan (15), Chipperini, and Adrian (5), Feliciano, Sonny Gonzalez (18), who all held a special place in his heart.

Gabe was predeceased by his mother, Maria Luisa Blas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his brother, Raphael Feliciano of Waterbury, Connecticut.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Esther; his daughter, Vionette Chipperini (Brendan) of Gloucester, MA, his son Gabriel, Feliciano (Erika) of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; his father, Gabriel Feliciano Sr. of Puerto Rico; and many siblings (Norma, Lily, Elias, Gricel, Esther, Yvonne, Noel, George, and Gabriel Jr.) and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in April, in New Jersey. Arrangements by the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester. For online condolences, please visit www.greelyfuneralhome.com.
