Gloucester - Gary Lambert, born and raised in Gloucester, MA, passed away unexpectedly at Maine Medical Center on Dec 3 2025,with Will Leedy, his loving partner of 32 years by his side.

Gary was born on October 30, 1959 to the late Patricia and Philip Lambert. He grew up in west Gloucester.

Graduating GHS in 1977, he entered the US Navy becoming a medical corpsman serving aboard the USS Speigel Grove. He lived in New Orleans LA for several years after his naval service. Gary returned home in the early 1980's and got his nursing degree from NSCC. He began his nursing career serving the communities of Gloucester and Salem, working and eventually retiring from the North Shore Medical Center.

Gary met Will Leedy while living and working in Lexington, KY. They both returned to New England in 1997 where they were both employed as nurses for NSMC. They loved vacationing, camping, traveling, the outdoors, their dogs, beaches, boating and spending time with friends and family.

Gary is predeceased by his parents Pat and Phil and is survived by four siblings: Linda Palazola and husband Jack, Lori Osborn and husband Paul, Lisa Lambert, Glenn Lambert and wife Alaina. Gary is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Chili.

At the families request , there will be no services. A celebration of Gary's life upcoming.
