Gloucester - Ginny Mae Madruga, age 65, died August 9, 2019, at Den Mar Nursing Home in Rockport, A lifelong Gloucester resident. She was the daughter of the late James and Olive (Lasley) Madruga. She was a graduate of Gloucester High School.
She worked at Manchester High School, family business Coastal Marine Supply and owned Madruga Real Estate.
She enjoyed Knitting Club, playing cribbage, enjoyed penny sales, bingo, and having breakfast with her friends.
Surviving her is a sister Beverly Burnham of Gloucester; friends Patty Papows of Gloucester, Christine Garron of Gloucester, Mary Rose (Frontiero) Hildonen of Gloucester; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her graveside service will be held at Beechbrook Cemetery Gloucester on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. Ginny and I met in junior high school and have been friends ever since. We had a lot of sleepovers at her house. I got married and moved but every time I came home we would always get together. She was a very good friend and she will always hold a very special place in my heart. My condolences to her family
