Gloucester - John C. Macauley, Jr., 71 of Gloucester, died on Thursday, February 27,2025. Born in Gloucester, he was the son of the late John Sr. and Louise (Maddix) Macauley. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia (Saulnier) Macauley.
He is known for being an amazing friend, father and the nicest guy around. His favorite time spent was going to hockey games, playing softball and raising his family.
He is survived by his son, Michael Macauley of Gloucester, his sisters, Carol McKenna of Gloucester; Barbara Tarr of Gloucester; two grandchildren, Owen and Miley. In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Macauley.
