GLOUCESTER - GLOUCESTER - John Richards, 59, of Gloucester, MA passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him most.
He leaves his wife and dearest friend of 23 years, Mary; his children, Ian and Hannah; his brothers, Tom, and Paul and his wife, Sue; nieces and nephews; his closest lifelong friends, Steve Ellis, Bennett White and an extended but close family.
Throughout his entire life, John readily offered his friendship, shared his keen intellect, his sense of adventure and most of all his over-the-top sense of humor. John taught us to shoot for the stars, not just the horizon.
Those that knew him best are all so much better for it. John will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
