Essex - It is with deep sadness that the McCaffrey family announces the passing of Leo John McCaffrey at age 88 on Monday May 18, 2026, at home.

Leo was known as Jack or Jackie by his brothers, sister, nieces and nephews, and childhood friends from Peabody. He was born on November 23, 1937, at Salem Hospital.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. with a visitation followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday June 12, 2026 at Visitation Parish Sacred Heart Church, 62 School St, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA. The burial will follow at The Beverly Farms Cemetery, 100 Haskell St, Beverly Farms, MA. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
