Andover, Gloucester - Mr. Warren R. Stone, a resident of Gloucester and Andover and beloved husband of Virginia Lee (Crist) Stone, passed away at the Beverly Hospital in Beverly, MA on Sunday morning, April 28, 2024. He was 91 years old.
Born in New Haven, CT, Warren was the beloved son of the late Harry H. and Mary (Dubin) Stone.
He was a graduate of The Hopkins School and of Harvard University, Class of 1954. Warren was the Chief Executive Officer for Addison Wesley Publications in Reading, Massachusetts, for many years.
Besides his wife, Virginia Lee, Warren is survived by his sister, Linda Stone Kaplan and nephews; Dr. Andrew Stone Kaplan and Dr. Jeffrey Stone Kaplan.
