Rockport - Pauline F. Hale, 90 years old, of Rockport, formerly of Arlington, Danvers and Spring Creek Village, Fla., passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Den Mar Rehabilitation Center in Rockport. She was the beloved wife of 50 years of the late W. Munroe Hale.
Born in Waltham, graduate of Waltham High, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Florence (Linder) Olson.
"Polly" loved the waters surrounding Cape Ann. She and her husband "Mun" spent their summers on their boat the Eclipse traveling to Wingersheek Beach or crossing Ipswich Bay to the beaches of Essex and Ipswich. She loved animals and always had a dog and cat by her side.
Surviving her are two sons, Glenn P. and his wife Betsy of Rockport, and Wayne D. Hale of Rockport; one sister-in-law, Patricia Olson of Rockport; two nieces, Patti Dineen of Rockport, and Janet Osmond of Rockport; three grandchildren, Drew Hale, Cameron Hale, and Sara Lovegreen whom she loved so dearly; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Olson.
