Gloucester - Gloucester - Ronald George Ross passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7 at his home. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska.

Born to Helena and George Ross. He grew up in Seattle, WA. He joined the Navy after Ballard H.S., later attended the Diver's Institute of Technology becoming a deep-sea commercial diver during the 80's & 90's. In 2005 transitioned to the semiconductor industry, opening the door to world travel, Escaling health issues encouraged Ron to take yet another tack in 2010, earning his CDL license to work locally until he retired in 2015. He stayed busy with his love of woodworking turning raw materials into something beautiful. Ron's legacy lies in his perseverance and tenacity. His advice to you would be to never give up in life. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Ross and her fiancé, Tyler Cilluffo of Gloucester; brothers, Robert Ross, William and wife, Bobby Ross, Sister Anna, Niece Amber & Nenad, Nephew Michael wife, Rachel, Great-nephews Lucas, Ben, Oliver and Michael.

A private ceremony will be held on Land and at Sea Friday morning, Sept 19, 2025. All are invited to a Memorial lunch held at the Gloucester Fraternity Club, 27 Webster St. at 12:15 pm
