She was born in Gloucester, Mass., on June 26, 1929, to the late Alfred Sr. and Ardrith Parady. She is survived by her sons Steven Lane of Corona, Calif., and Bruce Lane of Mission Viejo, Calif.; her brother Gerald Parady; and her sister Faye Brophy, both of Essex, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews; along with four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Leanne Lane; her brothers and sisters Alfred Parady Jr., Clifton Parady, Shirley Saulnier, Jeannette Harvey, Joyce Vickery; and her identical twin, Margaret Bolduc.
Rose grew up in Gloucester, Mass., where she graduated from Gloucester High School in 1947. She and Gil were high school sweethearts and were married on December 1, 1949. Rose worked as a Switchboard Operator for the New England Telephone Company and later worked in catalog sales for Sears Roebuck and Company.
Rose and Gil moved to the warmer weather of Fullerton, California, in 1984 to be closer to their daughter Leanne and older son Steve. Bruce married and joined the family in California in 1990. Rose and Gil later lived together in nearby Placentia for several years.

The family will have a private memorial at sea by the Neptune Society in early August at the exact same coordinates as her late husband Gil. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.

Steve I am so sorry to here of your Mom's passing. I knew you and Leanne but not Bruce. Your Mom as well as mine live a good long life. I will always remember the sparkle she always had in her eyes. My heart aches for both of you. Love you, Shirley's daughter, Carol

Steve, You may not remember me; but I am one of your many cousins. I lived in Chicago; but visited Gloucester in the summers. I am sorry for the loss of your mother, Rose. Marion Goodwin let me know. It has been a long time since I've seen your mother. My mother, Kay, and I visited your parents in Corona. I remember you stopped by. I didn't know your sister, Leanne, passed away. Sorry to hear that also.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is always tough, but to Alzheimers makes it harder. Cherish the memories together. I will continue to pray for you and your family. Added your Mom's name to my Alzheimers donation with my Dad's.
