Scott Boyle Obituary

Gloucester - Gloucester - Scott Boyle, 61, of Gloucester, passed away after a brief illness on October 6th. Scott was born in 1964 in Coylton, Ayrshire, Scotland.

He was the son of Nan (Wilson) and the late Vincent Boyle.

A lifelong Gloucester resident, Scott graduated Gloucester High School, class of 1982. He attended Nathaniel Hawthorne College in New Hampshire to obtain his private pilot license. He loved flying small planes over Cape Ann.

Scott was a hard worker and had not missed a day of work in the last 25 years as a livery driver. He enjoyed driving, particularly along Gloucester's back shore during storms, relishing the giant waves.

Scott treasured strumming his base guitar and playing Texas Holdem. He adored animals, sports and, especially, watching the sunrise and sunset over the ocean.

Scott is survived by his mother, Nan Boyle, of Gloucester; his sister, Heather LoRe and her husband, Anthony, of North Reading; and, his loving partner, Doreen, of Gloucester.

Funeral services were private. Arrangements by Campbell Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester. For online condolences, visit www.campbellfuneral.com.
