Amesbury - It is with heart wrenching anguish that we announce the unexpected passing of Stephen E. Francis Jr., just two days shy of his 40th birthday, who died at his home in Amesbury on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Born in Gloucester, February 4, 1982, he was the son of Linda (Reis) Whitford of Amesbury and Stephen E. Francis of Seabrook, NH, and was a graduate of Triton Regional High School, class of 2000.

Stephen was employed as a mechanic and CDL truck driver at Prime Coatings, Inc. in Salisbury for many years.

He was a devoted husband, father, brother, son and dear friend to many. It was the love of his family that gave him his greatest joy. Stephen was the most dedicated father to his girls. He was well known in town for being "Super Steve" THE cheer dad.

He leaves behind treasured memories that will continue to live within the hearts of those he loved so dearly, his wife, Julie Francis; his daughters, Livia Ansaldi and Isabela Francis; his mother, Linda Whitford; his father, Stephen Francis Sr.; his brother, Owen Francis; along with extended family members too numerous to mention.

Visiting hours will be held at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be no burial at this time.
