Gloucester - Tanaia Kyla Chamberlain, 44, of Gloucester, passed peacefully from this world on January 11, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.
The beloved daughter of Peter B. Chamberlain, Sharon E. (Murphy) and Wayne P. Ciaramitaro, Tanaia was born in Gloucester on September 3, 1975. She attended Gloucester schools and graduated from Rockport High School Class of 1995.
Tanaia had a wild and wicked sense of humor. Growing up in a large close-knit family, where cousins were raised more like siblings, Tanaia was among the oldest and considered the fun, free-spirited one. All the kids in the family will cherish the special memories of the shenanigans where she was always the ring leader.
People were easily drawn to Tanaia's charming, genuine personality. Being sociable came to her with ease; she had the ability to take center stage whenever she entered a room. Whatever the occasion, gatherings were always much livelier whenever she was present.
Tanaia had a tender loving heart. Whether months or years had passed, if she would see you on the street, you would always be greeted by her big, beautiful smile and a warm loving hug. To know her, was to love her.
Tanaia loved her family beyond measure and was so incredibly proud of her three amazing sons, Nicholas and twins, Jude and Jaden, whom she affectionately referred to as "Tricky Nick and the gruesome twosome." She certainly viewed her children as her greatest accomplishment.
Her fun, feisty personality and infectious laughter will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents and children, Tanaia is survived by her sister, Sharai E. (Ciaramitaro) Schultz, companion of Dimitri Baglaneas; precious nephew, Jackson W. Schultz, her little "sonny boy," as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tanaia was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Norman M. and Barbara L. (Gossom) Murphy, paternal grandparents, Basil and Gladys (Martin) Chamberlain; her cherished baby sister, Kristy Elizabeth Ciaramitaro and cousins, Jason Manger, infant Cory Murphy and Ashley E. Grover, with whom she shared a very special bond.
In keeping with her wishes, funeral services will be privately held.
Donations in Tanaia's memory may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 https://www.stjude.org/. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.

It's impossible to find the words to express our sorrow. Tanaia was certainly that one of a kind beautiful young lady & loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. The last time I saw Tanaia I was greeted with one of her signature smiles & a Huge hug. That's how I'll always remember her.
