Gloucester - Theresa (Goulart) Doucette, 85 of Gloucester, wife of the late James "Wally" Doucette passed away on December 3, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 26, 1940, She was the daughter of the late Rose E. Rocha and Joseph R. Goulart. She was known by friends and family as "Treat". Theresa was a lifelong resident of Gloucester raised on Portuguese hill. She worked at Lepages for many years and went on to work for Action Inc. where she took great joy in caring for her elderly clients until her retirement.

Theresa formed many meaningful friendships throughout her life. Among those who held a special place in her heart was Gladys "Sissy" Gay, a lifelong friendship with many treasured memories. Also, Judy Mitchell who she held close to her heart.

She cherished her memories of dear friends who have passed, often accompanied by plenty of laughter remembering them fondly.

Theresa had a way of filling any room with energy. She loved spending time in her yard tending to her flowers and plants.. She was a fan of seafood from Gloucester and only Gloucester and treasured her shopping trips with her daughter Rhonda.

She will be remembered for her boldness, her humor, and the deep love she had for her family. Her laughter and her spark will remain in the hearts of all who loved her.

Theresa is survived by her daughter Rhonda Tucker and her longtime companion, Bruce Mattson, and her son Rusty Tucker and his wife Ronda. She leaves behind two grandsons, Richard Tucker and his significant other Jessica Arsenault, Justin Tucker and his girlfriend, Marisa Oliver and her beloved granddog, Max, who brought joy to her life. She also held a very special place in her heart for her nephew, Joseph Goulart of New Jersey.

Theresa is now reunited with her husband, James Waldon Doucette, her daughter Renee Tucker, and her former husband, Richard Tucker, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no services.
