Andover - Theresa L. (Duquette) Mullen, 89, of Andover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Care One Nursing Home in Beverly, Massachusetts of natural causes.

Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, on May 29, 1936, Theresa was the daughter of the late Gene and Kilda (Racine) Duquette. She was the loving wife of the late Donald M. Mullen, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.

Theresa and Donald raised one son, Micheal D. Mullen of Gloucester. Michael retired in September of 2021 from Bank Gloucester as senior commercial analyst. In memory of his wife Juliet he has raised for cancer at dana faber $83,500.Michael has also raised working with his wife's niece in Uganda, $3800. Michael received from rotary international the major donor award in October of 2018 having raised $12,750. In total Michael has raised $100,000. Michael will soon make an in-person donation to Berny Ebers of $10,000 in memory of both his wife and mother. After the passing of Donald, Michael helped his mother with her house and doctor appointments.

Mr. and Mrs. Mullen and their son Michael skied in the Lerenchens, north of Montreal for many years. Years ago, Michael drove his mother to this ski resort, just to enjoy the restaurants and not to ski with his wife's approval. Donald and Terry purchased a house on Lake Champlain across from the Vermont border and enjoyed it with their son for many years. Michaels parents enjoyed many years with their chow chow dogs.

Theresa Mullen was a devoted Catholic who treated all people she met with great respect. Who treated all with respect and carried her beliefs with quiet strength throughout her life.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Parish in Andover, followed by burial at West Parish Garden Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4–7 p.m. at Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover, MA.
