Gloucester - Theresa Sylvester, 96 years, of Gloucester, passed away Monday morning, December 23, 2019 at the Gloucester Healthcare Center in Gloucester. Surviving her are three nieces and nephews: Kate Franklin, from Sarasota, Florida; John Worth, from Earlysville, Virginia and Ron Cole, from Belmont, New Hampshire.

Theresa always loved dogs, especially her French Poodle "Souci", who often would run circles around her apartment when anyone came to visit. She also spent time dressing her doll Beth, making sure that her clothes were always pristine and up-to-date. She always remembered Valentine's Day and people's birthdays and baby sat for many of her nephews' children and the children of friends.
Theresa had been living at Gloucester Healthcare Center (formerly Golden Living) in Gloucester and was known by the staff and residents as an extremely kind-hearted person who often wanted her chair brought into the corridor so that she could say hello to everyone who passed by her. In recent years she really enjoyed coloring and her works of art took up a good deal of her time
Her Graveside Service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 151 Eastern Avenue, Gloucester on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
