Gloucester - Vincent J. Ciaramitaro "Jimmy", 78, of Gloucester, passed away on December 27th surrounded by his family. Born in Boston, Jimmy was the son of Leo V. and Lena Ciaramitaro.
He was a graduate of Gloucester High School and a veteran who served in the Army.
He worked at Gorton's for 32 years. Jimmy loved to listen to music, especially the Beatles. His favorite holiday was Christmas, and he greatly enjoyed St. Peter's Fiesta. He was a lifetime member of The Elks.
Jimmy is survived by his son, Lenny Ciaramitaro, granddaughters, Carina Ciaramitaro of Woodridge, NY, Teagan Ciaramitaro of Gloucester, Sister Roseann Dodge of Gloucester, Brother, Jerry Ciaramitaro and his wife Mary E. of Gloucester, Aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Bea Ciaramitaro of Gloucester, Joe and Sue Ciaramitaro of Arizona, dear friend, Elizabeth Hinckley of Gloucester and many cousins.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his daughter, Nicole, and brother-in-law, Jack Dodge.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann Church, 74 Pleasant St, Gloucester, on January 6th, at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 61 Middle St, Gloucester, on January 5th from 4 pm to 7 pm. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.
